2:29:09Now PlayingTrump Co-Defendant (from the Geaorgia RICO case), Michael Roman, has submitted a motion to disqualify Fani Willis from her criminal case based on purported personal benefits and/or conflict of interest that Willis has with the case. The allegations are rooted in her personal relationship with Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade. Trump has joined in the motion.
This afternoon, the Court is taking arguments arising from motions to quash subpoenas that Defendants have served upon various potential witnesses. If a motion to quash is successful, the Defense will not be able to provide the quashed evidence/testimony to support its motion to have Fani (and her office) dismissed from proceeding with the trial.
We are reviewing (on delay) those oral arguments relating to which evidence/witnesses may be excused from testifying.
