2:39Now PlayingA Great White was seen slicing through the water by paddle boarders off the coast of Cape Cod. The Senate recently passed a bill to alert beachgoers to shark dangers -- Lulu's Law -- named after an Alabama teen Lulu Gribbin who lost her arm in a shark attack last year.
Lulu's parents, Ann Blair Gribbin and Joe Gribbin, Jr., told ABC News:
“We’re deeply grateful for Senator Britt’s leadership in securing unanimous Senate passage of Lulu’s Law in honor of our daughter. Lulu is truly a miracle, both in the way she has adapted to her new lifestyle and how she is using her experience as a catalyst to protect other beachgoers. This law provides real changes that will help keep other families safe. We strongly encourage the U.S. House of Representatives to also pass this commonsense legislation that could prevent future shark attacks.”
