YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

The #RecoveryMovement celebrates the 23 million Americans living in recovery from addiction. With support from Google, eight of them, ranging from a Google employee to a former White House staffer to a high schooler, shared their stories of addiction and recovery to help break the stigma and the silence associated with addiction and recovery.

This is Kay's story. When doctors quit filling her prescriptions, Kay knew she had to quit. Since then, she's had surgery for her opioid-induced hearing loss and has become a vocal advocate for recovery.

Recovery is possible, and stories like Kay's should be celebrated and shared. Learn more about how Google is supporting the recovery movement at: g.co/recovertogether
