I've spent the past two years on staff at FCF Church, and while I'm certainly no expert in the field, I wanted to share with you some of my thoughts on what it's like working for a church, what I wish I would've known, and how to not only survive life in ministry, but thrive in ministry. If you're thinking about going into ministry I want to encourage you that working for a church can be an amazing experience. However, to get the most out of it, you should go into it with the right expectations. These are my quick tips on working for a church. Have some thoughts? I'd love to hear them in the comments!

Hey! My name is Austin, and I'm a 20 year old guy with a passion for people. I believe the good news is that God is better than we could've ever hoped, and I love sharing this message of grace and love with anyone that will listen. I'm the former Digital Marketing and Video Production Coordinator at a large, evangelical church in Frederick, MD, and I'm currently a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL.
