YouTube Description
as posted by the channelWe all desire, perhaps more than anything, to know that we are enough. Insecurity is not a girl's issue, it's a people issue, and guys just as much as anyone crave to feel that they are enough, just as they are. However, for many of us, there's a nagging feeling that we're not okay just as we are, so we are forced to put on masks, try harder, do more, compare, and much more, all in an attempt to try to make ourselves feel as though we are enough. The truth is, our value shouldn't come from any source other than the unconditional love of God for us.
All throughout this "Dear Guys" series, we've been talking about issues that we as guys need to own up to and overcome so that we can move towards the brighter future that we all want, and if we are to create that future, we'll need to do it uninhibited from our insecurities, running our race, not trying to beat everyone else at theirs. If you're a guy struggling with the haunting question of whether you're enough, this video is for you.
About me:
Hey! My name is Austin, and I'm a 20 year old guy with a passion for people. I believe the good news is that God is better than we could've ever hoped, and I love sharing this message of grace and love with anyone that will listen. I'm the former Digital Marketing and Video Production Coordinator at a large, evangelical church in Frederick, MD, and I'm currently a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. When I'm not writing papers or making YouTube videos, I do freelance work as a Wedding Photographer/Videographer and social media consultant. On any given day you can find me with my nose in a book or a guitar in my hands. Want to get to know me more? Follow me and say hi on Instagram at: @austin.suggs
