Should Christians proselytize, trying to convert people from one faith system to Christianity? If you asked American culture at large, the answer would be no. According to Barna Research Group, even if you asked practicing Christians, specifically Millennials, the answer still might be no. Among Practicing Millennial Christians, nearly half think it is wrong to share your faith with people of other religions with the goal of converting them, even though this same group overwhelmingly believes that accepting Jesus is the best thing that could happen in someone's life. So what are we supposed to make of this dissonance?

Even though it may be unpopular, Christians must recognize that the Bible leaves little room for Universalism, and because of that, it's no surprise that Christians are clearly called to convert people of other religions. It's uncomfortable, I know. However, if we are to follow Jesus fully and faithfully, we must recognize that we need to share the Gospel with people who believe differently than us.
