Our habits play a huge role in who we become. As Christians, it's our responsibility to develop healthy habits so that we can grow in our faith. Too often, spiritual disciplines are viewed as empty rituals and "going through the motions" but what I want to explore in this video is the way that spiritual disciplines can help you grow in your faith and mature as a Christian. As 2 Peter 3:18 says, we should be growing in the grace and knowledge of Jesus. Christians should never be stagnant, but far too many Christians are frustrated with the fact that they're not growing in their faith. If you want to grow in your faith, the first thing to think about is developing habits that will form you into the you that you were created to be.

In the video I mentioned Dallas Willard, his book Spirit of the Disciplines, and an article going over some of them. Here is that article

About me:

Hey! My name is Austin, and I'm a 21 year old guy with a passion for people. I believe the good news is that God is better than we could've ever hoped, and I love sharing this message of grace and love with anyone that will listen. I'm the former Digital Marketing and Video Production Coordinator at a large, evangelical church in Frederick, MD, and I'm currently a student at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL. When I'm not writing papers or making YouTube videos, I do freelance work as a Wedding Photographer/Videographer and social media consultant. On any given day you can find me with my nose in a book or a guitar in my hands. Want to get to know me more? Follow me and say hi on Instagram at: @austin.suggs
