The church's failure (both Protestant and Catholic), to do more to help Jews during the Holocaust is well known. Many might have heard of Dietrich Bonhoeffer or St. Maximillian Kolbe as exceptional examples, but far too few of us have heard of the courage of Fr. Bernhard Lichtenberg, a Catholic priest who was arrested by the Nazis for praying for Jews daily and calling on Christians to love their neighbors as themselves.
This video is part of a larger series of videos dedicated to exposing Christians to those who have gone before us and are shining examples of the Christian faith.
