YouTube Description
as posted by the channelTradition has always been a touchy subject for Catholics and Protestants. Debates around the relative importance of Scripture and Tradition have continued unabated since the Reformation, and they show little sign of slowing down.
However, for all this disagreement, it's not often clear what we mean by tradition. In this video, I explore precisely that question, by giving an overview of Yves Congar's work, The Meaning of Tradition, a landmark work of theology. At the end, I share my own thoughts about how Protestants and Catholics can move the conversation forward.
