Too often, when we feel stuck in our spiritual lives we assume that what we've been doing just isn't good enough, so we set off in search for new practices that will finally bring us the dynamic spiritual life we've been seeking.

And it works. For about a week. Maybe a month, if we're lucky, but soon enough we're back out on the road, in search of something new.

This approach, this ceaseless appetite for novelty, it's killing our spiritual lives. We're asking trees without roots why they don't have fruit and leaving them to wither in the sun.

This video is a challenge to change that approach.
