YouTube Description
as posted by the channelAccording to the interim findings on the Cass Report, GIDS ‘single specialist provider model is not a safe or viable long-term option’ for the best care of young people experiencing gender incongruence or gender-related distress.
""There is a lack of agreement, and in many instances a lack of open discussion, about the extent to which gender incongruence in childhood and adolescence can be an inherent and immutable phenomenon for which transition is the best option for the individual.”
""The care of this group of children & young people is *everyone’s* business."
Basically, they’ve been found to be making it up as they go along. For years it's been nearly impossible to even raise the slightest concern despite Bells (Dr and Keira), whistleblowers, Appleby etc. Now the Cass review confirms everything we’ve all been saying.
The review allows concerned and cautious voices within the NHS to slap the report on the table and say "Chew on that".
