as posted by the channel"On Tuesday feb 4, 1992, 28 year old Cynthia Cano went missing from Cheers III bar located at Bethany Home Road and 19th Avenue in Pheonix, AZ. A friend states that on the night of the 4th Cynthia was leaning against a jukebox while the friend went to the restroom. When the friend emerged from the Restroom Cynthia was gone.
Accourding to the Arizona Republic in an article written by Justin Price
On feb 5th a "passerby" near the interesection of Mohave and 47th ave heard someone breathing and then found Cynthia in the Canal at 10:55 a.m.
She had been stabbed multiple times and was barely alive. She was pronounced dead at St. Joseph's Hospital shorty after being transported.

"Police found tire tracks and other evidence from the scene that indicated a struggle between Cynthia and her assailant.
The friend from the bar told police that Cyntha had been trained in some sort of self-defense. Police said they have not been able to definitely
account for what happened after Cynthia left the bar.
