On February 13, 2017 Abigail Williams and Liberty German decided to go to the Monon High Bridge in Delphi Indiana. They went to the bridge and took photographs and were enjoying themselves when they were confronted by an unknown person on the SE end of the bridge sometime around 2:30. They failed to answer the phone calls of Liberty's father Derrick who had driven there to pick them up. The search began and they were not found the first night. Tragically, the next day, they were found by searchers across deer creek about a quarter of a mile from the start of the bridge. Both girls had been murdered.
