Members of the Sao Paulo Legislative Assembly filed a complaint with the ethics council against right-wing congresswoman Fabiana Bolsonaro, who last Wednesday staged a controversial speech during a session by painting her face black with makeup as a form of protest.
According to Folha de Sao Paulo, the congresswoman, who has no relation to former president Jair Bolsonaro, did this to protest the appointment of Erika Hilton, a transgender congresswoman, as president of the Commission for the Defense of Women's Rights.
