as posted by the channelOn April 22nd, 2016, 8 members of the Rhoden family were found dead across three different properties on the same street in Piketon, Pike County, Ohio. The killers left a newborn baby and two toddlers alive, who were found next to their executed mothers at the scene.
The community was shocked and could not understand who would do this, and also, why? In November 2018, 4 Wagner family members were arrested and charged with the murders of the Rhoden family. On April 22nd, Jake Wagner pleaded guilty to all 23 counts against him in the case and in exchange for his plea, prosecutors have dropped the death penalty for him and his family.
Victims: Christopher Rhoden Sr.his ex-wife Dana Manley Rhoden, their three children, Hanna May Rhoden, Christopher Rhoden Jr., and Clarence "Frankie" Rhoden, Frankie Rhoden's finacee, Hannah was also killed, along with the brother and cousin of Christopher Rhoden Sr., Kenneth Rhoden, and Gary Rhoden.
The trial for these murders is scheduled to start at the end of October and could last up to 60 days. Charged with murder are: George Billy Wagner, Angela Wagner, George Wagner IV, and Edward "Jake" Wagner.
