Irene Gakwa was last seen on a video call to her family on February 24th, 2022. She was officially reported missing in March and was 32 years old at the time.
She was living with her boyfriend, Nathan Hightman, at the time of her disappearance. He bought a 55 gallon drum and was seen burning something in the back yard at the time she went missing. He then drained her bank accounts and deleted her social media and has faced charges relating to that activity.
