as posted by the channelAthena Strand was last seen at her dad's house on Wednesday, November 30th, 2022 in Paradise, Texas. On Thursday, an AMBER Alert was issued for Athena, and on Friday her body was discovered by law enforcement, approximately 10 miles from her home near Boyd.
Tanner Horner, 31, a former Uber driver, a contracted Fed Ex driver and wannabe musician, abducted Athena after delivering a package to her home. He is currently in the Wise County Jail and held on a $1.5 million bond. He faces charges of aggravated kidnapping and capital murder and is said to have confessed to the crime when he was arrested at his home in Fort Worth.
