YouTube Description
as posted by the channelOn May 9th, 2021, 13-year-old Tristyn Bailey, a seventh-grade cheerleader at Patriot Oaks Academy in St. Johns, Florida went on a late night walk with her 14-year-old friend, Aiden Fucci, which was captured on surveillance footage in the neighborhood around 1:14 AM at Saddlestone Drive. At 3:30 AM, video surveillance captures who is believed to be Aiden running home, carrying white Nike shoes.
At 10AM on May 9th (Mother's Day), Tristyn's mother calls 911 to report her missing when she realizes that she is not in her room. Later that day, her body was discovered in the woods east of the cul-de-sac on Saddlestone Drive by a jogger, and it was later learned that she had been st*bbed 114 times. At 8:49 PM, Aiden and his parents are place in a St. John's County Sheriff's Office interview room.
When investigators search Aiden's home on May 10th, they find a Buck brand knife sheath, a pair of white Nike shoes with blood on them (they were also wet), a T-shirt with blood on it, a white piece of paper with scribbles and blood on it, and a pair of wet blue jeans in a laundry basket. He was arrested at 3:30 AM and charged with 2nd-degree murder.
On June 3rd, he entered a plea of not guilty on the murder charge. On June 5th, his mother, Crystal Lane Smith, was arrested for tampering with evidence after video proved she washed his blood-spattered jeans, even though a friend had warned her that she would get in trouble for doing so. She pleaded not guilty on July 26th.
Aiden Fucci will be tried as an adult for first-degree murder, with his trial set to begin on February 6th, 2023. His pre-trial hearing was held on January 20th. He is currently 16-years-old and being held in the Duval County Jail in solitary confinement because he has been getting into jail fights and threatening to kill inmates, officers, and their families. The state has filed a motion to have a 6-person jury for his trial.
Let's investigate the case and deep dive all the documents we have related to Tristyn Bailey's case.
