as posted by the channel18-year-old Naomi Irion was abducted from a Walmart parking lot on March 12th, 2022, while she was waiting for a shuttle bus to take her to work. Her Mercury Sable was found on March 15th, 2022, and Troy Driver (42) was arrested on March 25th, 2022. On March 30th, it was announced by the Lyon County Sheriff's Department that her body had been located on Coal Canyon Road in Churchill County, and due to all the overwhelming evidence, including DNA, Troy Driver was charged with first-degree murder (and several other charges, including kidnapping, robbery, destroying or concealing evidence and burglary of a motor vehicle) and is being held without bail in the Yerington jail. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is facing the death penalty, if convicted.
Today her mother, Diana Irion joins us to share updates and lessons on overcoming grief, as well as what we can do to stay safer from predators like Troy Driver.
