Timothy Bliefnick, 39, is on trial for the murder of his estranged wife, Rebecca Bliefnick. She was found shot in her home in Quincy, Illinois on February 23rd, 2023. He was arrested by March 13th, 2023, charged with two counts of first degree murder and one count of home invasion, and has been held without bond at the Adams County Jail. They have three young sons together. Tim was featured on the hit show "Family Feud" with Steve Harvey and offered a controversial answer to one of the questions, which is even worse in hindsight.
This will be a series on this case. In today's episode we will look at the timeline, maptime, and a summary of the opening statements in Tim's trial, which started on May 22nd, 2023 and is expected to last 2 weeks.
