Microsoft Executive Jared Bridegan's Ex-Wife and Two Others Facing Death Penalty for His Murder

33-year-old Microsoft Executive Jared Bridegan was in a bitter custody battle with his ex-wife, Shanna Gardner. Both were remarried but shared custody of their 9-year-old twins. On February 16th, 2022, Jared had just dropped his twins off at Shana's Jacksonville Beach house and was headed back to St. Augustine, where he lived with his wife and their two kids. His 2-year-old daughter was in the car with him at the time- he stopped because there was a tire on the road near the exit of The Sanctuary neighborhood, where he was ambushed and shot multiple times.

There have been 3 arrests in this case:

1. 61-year-old Henry Tenon was arrested on January 25th, 2023 and charged with conspiracy to commit murder, second-degree murder with a weapon, accessory after the fact to a capital felony and child abuse.

2. Shanna's current husband, Mario Fernandez Saldana was arrested on March 16th, 2023 and charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, solicitation to commit a capital felony and child abuse after Henry Tenon agreed to testify against him. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against him.

3. On August 17th, 2023, Shanna Lee Gardner was arrested and also charged with first-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, solicitation to commit a capital felony and child abuse. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty against her.
