Her roommate had heard her being attacked and ran to call for help. When the police arrived, they noticed visible signs of a struggle and of forced entry. Amie was rushed to the hospital, where she died from her injuries. Her OBSESSED ex-boyfriend, Gareth Pursehouse was arrested for her murder and released on a $2 million bond, then rearrested and held without bond.
