SIX Unsolved Cases in Bardstown, Kentucky | Are They Connected to Crystal Rogers's Killers?

In today's episode, we will be deep diving the other unsolved murders that happened in Bardstown, including one from the 90's. Could some of these cases turn out to be connected to the suspects arrested in Crystal Rogers' murder? Jason Ellis, Daniel Cahoe, Kathy and Samantha Netherland, Lucinda Strange, Tommy Ballard... that's a lot of murders that took place in a small, tight-knit community.

Case Background: Crystal Rogers, a loving 35-year-old mother of five, who was dating and living with Brooks Houck at the time, was last seen on July 3rd, 2015. Her parents and brother reported her missing and discovered her abandoned car on the Blue Grass Parkway in Bardstown, Kentucky, a beautiful little town tainted with a string of unsolved murders between 2013 and 2016. Crystal's father, Tommy Ballard, was shot on November 18th, 2016, while preparing to go hunting with his grandson.

After 8 years of investigating, with the FBI's involvement, there have finally been two significant arrests in the case. Joseph Lawson and Brooks Houck have been arrested, with Brooks, who was named as the prime suspect in Crystal's disappearance in October 2015, being charged with murder and tampering with evidence. He is being held on a $10 million bond. Lawson has been charged with conspiracy to commit murder and tampering with physical evidence and is being held on a $500 000 bond. Both have pleaded not guilty.
