48:51Now PlayingMINNESOTA: On May 23rd, 2024, 30 year old Bethany Israel was 18 weeks pregnant when she went to visit her brother, Jack Joseph Ball, 23. When their mother had not heard from Bethany, she went to the house to check on her, spotted her son rushing out the house, and saw a substantial amount of blood; she called 911 and police responded to the scene at approximately 11PM. Officers discovered a bloody saw, hatchet, knives and several dismembered body parts in the home, as well as journals and handwritten notes, where Jack expressed his anger that his sister was "no longer innocent".
He was found in the back yard of neighbor's home with a self-inflicted knife wound to the throat and was rushed to the hospital. He is being held on a $2 million bond and will next be in court on June 10th. Let's read the criminal complaint and unpack the details of this case.
