Case Background: On Tuesday, February 20th, 2024 and AMBER ALERT went out for 3-year-old Elijah Vue in Two River, Wisconsin. He was last seen around 8AM on February 20th, according to a man he was staying with: Mr. Jesse Vang, Elijah's mother's boyfriend. His mother, Katrina Baur, had dropped him off at Vangs house "for disciplinary reasons", so that Vang could teach her son how to "be a man".
Baur and Vang have been arrested and charged with child abuse. Vang called the police at 10:59 AM to report him missing. At the time of his disappearance, Elijah was said to be wearing grey pants, a dark-coloured long-sleeve shirt and red-and-green dinosaur slip-on shoes.
Investigators urged the public to be on the lookout for the little boy who is described as being of Hmong and white ethnicity, about three feet tall and having brown hair and brown eyes. He has a birthmark on his left knee. They are also looking for his blanket, which is a red and white plaid blanket.
