as posted by the channelOn April 27, 2025, around 10 PM, David Earl Gipson allegedly knocked on the door of the home of two women in Washington County, Florida, and became enraged, claiming their family members (the victim’s husband and brother-in-law) owed him money. This led to a violent attack of a 74-year-old woman (nickname is Cricket) and the abduction of her daughter-in-law. The victim managed to escape the following day, sadly her mother-in-law was found deceased in her home after being attacked.
On April 29th, 2025, the approx. 20 hour manhunt for David Gipson ended with his dramatic capture in a wooded area north of Douglas Ferry Road in Washington County, Florida. Let's discuss his charges, probable cause affidavit and watch the press conferences together.
David Gipson is in custody at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, with additional charges possible as the investigation continues. The Sheriff’s Office is seeking information from the public and has provided a contact number (850-638-6111) for tips.
