Case Background: On November 13th, 2022, four University of Idaho students (Madison Mogen, Kaylee Goncalves, Xana Kernodle, and Ethan Chapin) were stabbed to death in their off-campus home at 1122 King Road, Moscow, Idaho. Bryan Kohberger, a 27-year-old PhD student in criminology at Washington State University, was arrested on December 30th, 2022, charged with four counts of first-degree murder and one count of burglary. Evidence includes DNA on a Ka-Bar knife sheath, surveillance footage of a white Hyundai Elantra linked to Kohberger, and cellphone data showing his phone near the crime scene (allegedly) 23 times before the murders. The trial is set for August 11th, 2025, in Boise, Idaho with prosecutors seeking the death penalty. 👀
