YouTube Description
as posted by the channelMedia outlets have been fighting for case transparency since January 2023 when Judge Megan Marshall put a gag order in place. Now that Bryan Kohberger had pleaded guilty to all charges and is facing sentencing on July 23rd, 2025, the media has requested that the gag order be lifted at last- the State is not opposed to this motion, but the defense team wants to keep it in place as long as possible, saying that full transparency risks their client's safety. Let's watch the live court hearing together, where Judge Steven Hippler will hear arguments about the gag order to help him make a decision: do you think it should be lifted now?
