She claimed that she was attacked and knocked unconscious while changing his diaper in a Big 5 Sporting Goods parking lot in Yucaipa, California, but inconsistencies in her and her husband's story from police and media interviews raised suspicions. On August 22nd, Rebecca and Jake were arrested at their home in Cabazon, California and charged with the murder of Emmanuel. Authorities believe Emmanuel is deceased, though his remains have not been found, and the investigation continues. Investigators ask anyone with information to contact the Specialized Investigations Division at 909‑890‑4904 or submit anonymous tips to We‑Tip at 1‑800‑78‑CRIME
