as posted by the channelMica Miller, a 30-year-old woman from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, died on April 27TH, 2024, in Lumber River State Park, North Carolina. The Robeson County Sheriff's Office and the North Carolina Medical Examiner ruled her death a "self-done" (censoring for YouTube) due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. Investigators found no evidence of foul play, supported by toxicology reports showing no drugs or alcohol in her system, scene evidence (including the firearm purchased that day), and her prior 911 call expressing her intent.
Mica was estranged from her husband, John-Paul Miller, a pastor at Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach. She had filed for divorce shortly before her death and alleged abuse, including harassment and coercive control ‼️These claims prompted public scrutiny, online speculation, and calls for justice from her family and supporters.
On December 17-18, 2025, a Federal grand jury indicted John-Paul Miller on charges of cyberstalking his estranged wife (from November 2022 through April 2024) and making false statements to federal investigators. Allegations include posting a nude photo of her without consent, placing tracking devices on her vehicle, excessive unwanted contacts, interfering with her finances, and damaging her tires. The indictment does not relate directly to her cause of death, which remains classified as self-deletion.
The case has also involved separate civil lawsuits against John-Paul Miller alleging past s*xual ab*se of minors, though these are distinct from the events surrounding Mica's death. Federal authorities, including the FBI, continue to address related matters.
