Wisconsin Professor Arrested After Pregnant Lover Found Dead in Apartment

Matthew Sierra, a Wisconsin professor, was arrested on December 16th, 2025 and charged with the first-degree murder of 27-year-old Alexis Pickett, who he was having an affair with for a few years. She was pregnant with his child, and the alleged motive is that he wanted her to have an ab*rtion, but she did not want to. She had a toddler, who he was also the father of. Preliminary hearing set for January 5th, 2026 at 11 AM.
