YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn January 2020, 11-year-old Gannon Stauch vanished from his Colorado Springs home. His stepmother, Letecia Stauch, claimed he’d gone to a friend’s house. In reality, she murdered him in his bedroom, then stuffed his body in a suitcase, drove 1,300 miles to Florida, and dumped it under a bridge near Pensacola. Gannon’s remains were found two months later. Letecia was arrested, tried in 2023, and convicted of first-degree murder and related charges. She received a sentence of life without parole. In April 2026, the Colorado Court of Appeals overturned the conviction due to a juror conflict and ordered a retrial. Now, the DA's office has indicated that they will consult with the Attorney General's office about seeking review of the decision in the Colorado Supreme Court. Let's discuss this update.
