15:35Now PlayingMLK Jr day has gotten increasingly weird lately. This year, MLK's legacy came under fire from alt-right Republicans like Charlie Kirk claiming his work (ie: overturning Jim Crow laws) led to a breakdown in the black community. (Like, what?). Things were equally unhinged on the left though where his work on racial color-blindness was either denounced or presented incorrectly by DEI activists who very much WANT people to see race above all else.
