Donald Trump dismissed his lawsuit against the IRS with prejudice, and shortly after, the DOJ announced a settlement awarding Trump a $1.776 billion fund — money that will be used to compensate the 1,600 convicted January 6th rioters he pardoned on his first day in office. The fund sends a clear message to groups like the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers: commit federal crimes, including violence against law enforcement, on behalf of Trump, and you will be both pardoned and paid. Meanwhile, farm bankruptcies are up 46% due to Trump's Iran war and soaring fertilizer costs. Families of people killed by ICE and CBP in Minneapolis are receiving nothing. The Department of Education has been defunded.

Todd Blanch — the same lawyer whose work resulted in Trump's 34 felony convictions. Trump remains a convicted felon and an adjudicated rapist found liable for half a billion dollars in fraud alongside his two sons. This is $1.8 billion of taxpayer money being handed out at the personal discretion of a convicted felon to reward political violence.
