The Pentagon expelled major media outlets after refusing Hegseth's access restrictions, but military sources continue leaking information about these illegal orders. Six Democratic lawmakers issued a reminder to service members about their constitutional oath and the Uniform Code of Military Justice requiring disobedience to unlawful commands. Trump responded by calling them treasonous and suggesting they should be hanged, while these representatives now receive death threats.
The UK has suspended intelligence sharing with the United States in this region due to concerns about these killings. Meanwhile, Trump's base shows fracturing loyalty over economic consequences of tariffs and disappointment regarding Epstein file promises. The FBI has reassigned agents from child sex trafficking investigations to immigration enforcement, undermining actual child protection efforts. Active military personnel lack immunity from prosecution for war crimes after Trump leaves office, creating potential criminal liability for those following these orders.
