The Epstein files cover-up is unraveling, and the Department of Justice and FBI are at the center of it. When compiling documents under the Epstein file transparency act, the DOJ and FBI claim they searched every database using only the name "Epstein," pulling records on every person in the country with that last name, resulting in three million pages of documents attributed to bank robbers and unrelated individuals. The FBI 302 interviews withheld from the release included specific, graphic allegations against Donald Trump from when the alleged victim was 13 years old. Those were the ones held back.
Attorney General Pam Bondi announced on Fox News that the Epstein client list was on her desk and would be released. She later walked that statement back, claiming she meant "the file." The file is three million pages. Meanwhile, roughly 1,000 FBI personnel worked around the clock for over three weeks cataloging every appearance of Donald Trump's name throughout the Epstein files. That catalog exists as a shared file that has never been released to the public.
In February 2025, Bondi hosted right-wing MAGA bloggers and podcasters at the White House, handing them thick white binders that turned out to be previously released, heavily redacted material. Victim names were left unredacted in multiple documents. In one filing, the name of a victim's dog was redacted but her name was not.
