TikTok banned Hawk's backup account permanently on Friday, then banned his main account MDG650Hawk that same afternoon. After getting his account restored late that night, the damage was done. With 48 community guideline violations he can't appeal, a missing profile photo, and a permanent ban warning still visible, the platform has become unusable. TikTok treats its creators and audience with contempt while YouTube assigns dedicated support staff to help build audiences and navigate analytics. The contrast is stark.
YouTube respects creators, offers genuine partnerships, and pays fairly. TikTok operates as a surveillance application, gathering data under new ownership that raises serious privacy concerns. The transition from Chinese ownership to Larry Ellison's control hasn't improved the abusive relationship between TikTok and its users. All long-form content over three minutes will now live exclusively on YouTube at Hawk Podcasts. TikTok becomes nothing more than a narrowly defined utility tool for shorts under three minutes and duets on the DefHawk backup account.
With 1.1 million followers on TikTok, this represents a major platform shift driven by years of poor treatment that escalated dramatically over recent days. YouTube provides monthly Zoom calls with dedicated support staff, teaches analytics, offers suggestions for growth, and maintains an environment free from arbitrary bans and unexplained violations. The abusive relationship with TikTok ends here.
