The hypocrisy becomes clear when comparing conservative reactions to threats against figures like Charlie Kirk versus their response to Renee Good's death. ICE agents arriving in unmarked vehicles, armed and masked, operate in democratically governed cities as political retaliation. These federal agents violate constitutional rights, operate without proper oversight, and now an American citizen lies dead in the street. Conservative pundits like Gutfeld and Kristi Noem immediately blamed the victim rather than questioning why militarized immigration enforcement killed someone in broad daylight.
Renee Good was a mother living on a residential street. Her vehicle contained stuffed animals for small children. She wasn't a domestic terrorist. The real issue is how ICE functions to terrorize communities while facing zero accountability. Conservative media figures living in Manhattan penthouses with private drivers rush to defend federal agents who killed an unarmed suburban mom, exposing that their outrage over political violence was never about morality but about maintaining power structures that protect white male conservative authority above American citizens' constitutional rights and basic safety.
