The Renee Good shooting continues to raise serious questions about federal law enforcement accountability and the whereabouts of ICE agent Jonathan Ross. After shooting Renee Good three times in the head on a Minneapolis residential street, Jonathan Ross left the scene without providing a statement, turned over no weapon to investigators, received no medical attention despite DHS claims of internal bleeding, and went directly home to pack according to neighbor accounts.
The federal government refuses to confirm his location or custody status while six prosecutors from the Minnesota US Attorney's Office resigned rather than investigate Good's wife instead of the shooter. Ross's actions immediately following the Renee Good killing suggest consciousness of wrongdoing. Standard law enforcement protocol after any officer-involved shooting requires remaining at the scene, providing statements, surrendering weapons, and receiving medical evaluation.
Jonathan Ross did none of these things. Video evidence from multiple angles, including Ross's body camera, shows the ICE agent firing at least two shots from beside the vehicle as it moved away from him, contradicting any claims of imminent danger. His father described Ross as having deeply held conservative Christian beliefs, yet the shooting of an unarmed woman and subsequent flight raises questions about justification.
The Minneapolis community wants answers about where Jonathan Ross is hiding and why no law enforcement agency has taken him into custody. Federal, state, and local authorities remain silent while the victim's family seeks justice for Renee Good.
