When Trump claims Iranian civilians are begging the U.S. to bomb their own infrastructure, the American press nods along, and nobody asks the obvious questions.
With Pete Hegseth running Pentagon communications, two anonymous sources count as confirmation. Trump publicly questioned the entire point of having nuclear weapons if they are never used, and now he is overseeing a military confrontation in the Middle East while the Strait of Hormuz remains closed and a global recession looms.
Netanyahu wants Iran wiped off the map. The new Iranian Supreme Leader has not been seen or heard from since losing his entire family in the initial strike. Every government involved, American, Israeli, and Iranian, is led by people Hawk calls narcissistic sociopaths in a collective race toward Armageddon, each convinced they are fighting a holy war.
Friends are setting up betting pools on who launches the first nuke and when. Trump wanted to nuke a hurricane. The same man now asks what the point of nuclear weapons is if they sit unused.
Hawk's answer to all of it: fire up the new grill, cook a ribeye with asparagus and Irish butter, and enjoy it while there's still time.
