Before his election to the Senate in 2021, Senator Jon Ossoff was a journalist who led investigations into organized crime, official corruption, war crimes, and human trafficking around the world. In the Senate, he's applied those same skills to expose corruption and abuse in government, and he's fighting back against Trump's abuses of power.
Senator Ossoff is the only Democratic Senator up for re-election in a state Trump won in 2024. His Senate race in Georgia will likely be one of the most competitive and expensive Senate contests in the nation.
