as posted by the channelTristian Ezell was clinically dead after a fentanyl overdose. She received CPR for forty-five minutes. By every medical expectation she should not be able to walk, talk, or remember her own name. But she is alive today, and she calls herself a walking, talking miracle.
Her story did not start there. Tristian grew up in Tennessee in a home marked by abuse. She made a profession of faith as a young girl, but the years that followed pulled her into eleven years of addiction, multiple overdoses, and more time behind bars than she can easily count. She first wanted to end her life at thirteen.
When she died, she did not see heaven. She saw what she was headed toward without Christ. And it changed everything.
Today Tristian runs a ministry called From Captive to Cursebreaker. She is a junior at Liberty University studying religion and Christian counseling, and she works with children that most people have already given up on. In this episode she shares the full account of her descent, her clinical death, and the moment that turned her from captive to cursebreaker.
