1:00Now PlayingSaul of Tarsus was not looking for Jesus. He was persecuting the church, dragging believers from their homes, and standing against the followers of Christ.
But on the road to Damascus, the risen Jesus confronted him and made him new.
Paul’s life shows the power of the New Covenant. Salvation is not merely self-improvement, behavior reform, or trying harder. It is the work of God making a person new from the inside out through Jesus Christ.
From persecutor to apostle, Paul became living proof that the grace of God can transform even the most unlikely person.
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away, behold, the new has come.” — 2 Corinthians 5:17
