-Hasn’t seen any of the kids over a year due to a separation from his wife and family

- Last time he physically saw R and E was the 07/25/22

- Does not know who lives in the home with children

- Received a message to pick up his kids from the police dept but wouldn’t share who sent the message. Police did not send the message.

- Would not answer the question of how they disciplined the kids previously in the marriage

- Claims Jodi is a therapist and life coach, and he respects her. He states that Ruby and Jodi have been in business for a year and that he did not know that the kids were staying with Jodi.

- He believes Jodi and Ruby’s business efforts are a good thing, but he was not involved in the business

- (He repeats every question asked like he doesn’t understand it)

- States he doesn’t know how she handles behavioral issues with the children.

-Part of the agreement of the separation was to allow the children to be

completely taken care of by Ruby. He shares that the only involvement he has is to provide income to the family.

- He states that Jodi is an honest and trustworthy individual.

- Separation was just a verbal agreement.

- He has no idea what is going on and wants to know-but can’t get much info because he won’t tell the police who called him to inform him.

- Stated that during 8 passengers, Chad was acting out in very selfish ways.

Stated that all this is public knowledge. Boils down to the fact that Chad was being mean and cruel to his siblings, and he could sleep anywhere but his room and he chose to sleep on the beanbag.

- He and Ruby chose parenting strategies together such as denying privileges until behavior was honest and responsible.

- The reasons for the marital separation had to do with the ways “I treated my wife and my own addictions I was working through”

- Ruby and Jodi were very close and “Jodi saw the need for me to get help” and he was “given the opportunity to leave and take space”

-Was told about the triggering event-about his son being emaciated to the point of nearly not sustaining life, he was duct taped, and tied down. He seems shocked and unsure if he was being told the truth. (skip to 37 min mark)

- Asked about wife first and said he loved and trusts Ruby and that he feels like got steamrolled and that he thought he was getting the kids. Learned the kids were on a medical hold.

- Asked police what to do. States that he loves his family, and he is working every day to save his family and get back to them and that everything he is hearing sounds made up and like it is from a horror movie. States “I just want my kids. I just want my family.”

- States he doesn’t know what is going on and feels like they must be talking about someone else.

- Woke up this morning, looked at his family and made a commitment to them to live an honest, virtuous, and responsible life (Sounds like Jodi verbiage) and he feels like he was sucker punched. He feels heartbroken and responsible for what happened. Wishes he was a better husband.
