Brooklyn MC Fabolous is a Happy man. According to new reports, Fabolous is planning to accept a plea deal in the case of his alleged domestic assault of his wife Emily B. Fab reportedly appeared in court on January 28th with attorney Brian Neary, who requested that prosecutors finalize all details of the deal.
The emcee will be able to skip out on jail time if he completes violence prevention workshops for six to 12 months total. Fab will have to plead guilty on one count of felony brandishing of a weapon or one count of threatening domestic violence. Should he successfully complete the terms of his deal, the charges will be expunged.
In October, Fabolous was offered an initial plea deal that would have had his charges dismissed if he completed a pre-trial intervention program. He turned it down and faced a possible sentence of up to 20 years in prison.
