as posted by the channelAccording to reports, R. Kelly was granted a bail hearing. The R&B singer could be released on bail as his motion for a new bail hearing was granted by a Judge by the name of Harry D. Leinenweber. Kelly’s lawyer Steven Greenberg filed the motion on his behalf.
"Mr. Kelly never missed a single court date, from 2002 to 2008, on his previous case. The court did not consider that Mr. Kelly appeared for each and every day of his trial and was present when the jury’s verdict was read. The court never considered that Mr. Kelly has been aware of these federal investigations and yet did not abscond," Greenberg said in court documents.
Now, if the Kelly is granted bail, it’s proposed that the judge puts him under home confinement with “an electronic monitoring device.”
