YouTube Description
as posted by the channel50 Cent has been threatened with legal action over his Hip Hop Homicides series, which investigates the staggering number of murders in rap.
Hosted by Van Lathan and executive produced by the G-Unit mogul alongside Mona Scott-Young, the WE tv show takes a “big picture” look at the epidemic of violence in Hip Hop by examining how factors like race, class, crime and policing played a part in these shocking killings.
The latest episode of Hip Hop Homicides — which aired on Thursday (December 22) — explores the murder of Chicago rapper FBG Duck who was killed in his hometown while shopping with two other people on August 4, 2020.
Chicago’s ABC 7 reported FBG Duck (real name Carlton Weekly) was shot in the chest, groin and neck. He was later pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
The men believed to be responsible for the murder were apprehended in October 2021. The suspects, Charles Liggins (aka C Murda), Kenneth Roberson (aka Kenny Mac), Tacarlos Offerd (aka Los), Christopher Thomas (aka C Thang), and Marcus Smart (aka Muwop) were charged with murder in aid of racketeering and federal firearm violations and assaults in aid of racketeering.

In Thursday’s episode of Hip Hop Homicides, Memo600, the OTF affiliated rapper signed to Wack 100, was reportedly flagged as a potential suspect — which he wasn’t impressed by.
“@50Cent IM SUING YOU FOR DEFAMATION OF CHARACTER,” Memo wrote on social media, denying he had anything to do with Duck’s death. “I DONT HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT SOMEBODY BETTER EXPLAIN SOMETHING U PAID THE WRONG INVESTIGATORS DONT PUT ME IN NO MURDERS FAM CHASING CLOUT!!”
