Sweden might be known as a big softy today, but back in the day it was a tough-as-nails empire with dreams of becoming King in the North. But when you're up against someone whose name ends with "The Great" chances are things aren't going to go your way. All the same, Charles the Almost-Great certainly gave the Great Northern War a jolly good shot.
