Painted scenes from the book of Genesis

But some were too shocked by the nakedness
So fig leaves covered them all

Wrote some moody poetry
And argued all too frequently with Da Vinci!
He didn’t care for painting, though he did it well
Thought sculpting was the noblest art
He believed that every stone must be chipped away
To free the art already inside

They called him “il Divino”
