The Prototype is a Creepy Popcorn fan-fiction short that reimagines the origin of Michael Myers by connecting Halloween III: Season of the Witch to the larger Halloween mythology.
Long before Silver Shamrock launched their halloween costumes and the tragic night occurred a prototype costume was created. A test. An experiment that could not be contained.
This short explores the idea that the mask Michael wore wasn’t just a disguise—it was a trigger. A corrupted piece of technology that helped shape the silent force we would come to know as The Shape.
This is a non-canon fan project, created as a love letter to the Halloween franchise and the wild, untapped ideas lurking inside its mythology.
For fans of Halloween, Season of the Witch, and dark “what if?” horror storytelling.
